Three Lions Named to NABC Honors Court
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three student-athletes from the Penn State Altoona men's basketball team were lauded for their academic accomplishments on Wednesday, when the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced its 2025-26 Honors Court.
Earning spots on the Honors Court from Penn State Altoona were guard Kaden Claar (Portage, PA/Portage), who completed his senior year with the Lions in 2025-26 and majored in Kinesiology, guard Mason Kargo (Portage, PA/Portage), a rising senior majoring in Accounting, and forward Aidan McCormack (Yardley, PA/Yardley), a rising senior majoring in Business Management/Marketing.
The NABC's Honors Court recognizes men's college basketball student-athletes from around the country who achieved success in the classroom. To be eligible, players must be juniors, seniors, or graduate students who finished the 2025-26 academic year with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher.
