Bruce Named AMCC Golfer of the Week
NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. - Penn State Altoona junior Andrew Bruce (Moon Township, PA / Moon) was chosen as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's Men's Golfer of the Week for the first time in his collegiate career on Wednesday.
Bruce was the Lions' top finisher at the two-day Northeast Elite tournament this past Sunday and Monday at Williamsport Country Club. He would card scores of 73 and 69 for a total stroke count of 142. This score would tie him for second place out of 90 golfers while also tying for the third-lowest score in a round in team history.
The Penn State Altoona's men's golf team returns to action this Sunday as they host the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic at Sinking Valley Country Club.
