Velarde Selected to All-AMCC Men’s Soccer Team
LATROBE, Pa. – Penn State Altoona sophomore forward Felipe Velarde (Panama/Colegio Real de Panama) was voted to the All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference team in men's soccer, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.
Velarde was a third-team selection to the all-conference team.
In his first season with Penn State Altoona, Velarde was 10th in the AMCC in assists (4), 12th in shots on goal (15), 14th in points (12), 15th in shots attempted (26), and tied for 16th in goals (4). He played in 15 games this season, making 12 starts. The sophomore was named the AMCC Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 27.
Penn State Altoona men's soccer finished the 2025 season with a 3-12 record overall, including a 2-6 record in the AMCC.
