OXFORD, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona women's golf team competed in the second and final round of the inaugural Colonial Women's Golf Conference Championships on Tuesday at Wyncote Golf Club.

No. 21 Babson College won the CWGC title with a two-round score of 632 on the par 72 course, while No. 28 Christopher Newport University earned a second-place finish with 651. Salisbury University rounded out the top three spots on the team leaderboard with 705.

Penn State Altoona did not register a team score, as the Lions had two golfers compete as individuals in the two-day tournament.

Gabby Catalogna (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) shaved nine shots off of her first-round score by shooting 98 on Tuesday, totaling 205 strokes for the tournament and placing 21st individually out of 34 golfers. Alyssa Franks (Altoona, PA/Bishop Guilfoyle) shot 134 on Tuesday and scored 255 for the tournament, settling into 31st place individually.

Tuesday's round closes the fall season for Penn State Altoona women's golf, which will return to action in the spring semester, beginning with hosting the Pennsylvania Classic on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29 in State College.
