Trexler Receives Nod for AMCC Player of the Week
NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. - Penn State Altoona freshman Kira Trexler (Martinsburg, PA/Central) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's offensive player of the week for women's soccer.
Trexler had another great week for the Lions, being involved in all three of the Lions' goals. In the 2-1 victory against Bethany, Trexler scored the equalizer and set up Grace Turner (Stevensville, MD/Kent Island) for the winner. Then against Washington & Jefferson, Trexler set up the lone goal for the Lions as they would lose 4-1.
She would finish the week with one goal, two assists, four points, three shots, and three shots on goal.
Penn State Altoona women's soccer returns to action this Saturday as they travel to Pittsburgh to face Chatham University for a 1 p.m. match.
