What made you want to attend Penn State Altoona?
I decided to attend Penn State Altoona because of the great programs, beautiful campus, and the opportunity to play tennis.
How did you get your start in your sport?
I started playing tennis when I was in ninth grade and ended up really enjoying the sport.
What are some of your favorite memories from your time as a Penn State Altoona student-athlete so far?
I've enjoyed playing alongside my teammates the past four years and bonding on our long away-match trips. My most memorable moment was winning against Geneva on my senior recognition day.
Do you have any mentors or role models at Penn State Altoona? If so, how have they helped you improve as a person?
Stacey Corle has played a positive role in my educational journey at Penn State. I have always appreciated her guidance and wisdom. My Tennis coach Mark Sapita has been a great role model and huge support to me on and off the court.
Outside of sports, what do you hope to accomplish during your time at Penn State Altoona?
As a Senior, I will be leaving Penn State Altoona with many great experiences that I hope to carry with me into my future career.
What career role would you like to have in the future? How is Penn State Altoona helping you reach that goal?
I am majoring in Early Childhood Education and hope to secure a job as an elementary teacher. I am currently a full time student teacher and will be graduating a semester early this December.
What advice would you give to a freshman student-athlete?
Enjoy every moment because it goes fast, and be prepared to do your school work on the bus.
