ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona announced its 2026 women's volleyball schedule on Wednesday, a 25-match slate that includes 13 home contests and the team's 14-match Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference schedule.

Penn State Altoona will open the season on Wednesday, Sept. 2, with a 7 p.m. road match at Penn College. The Lions will then travel to Baltimore, Md., for Johns Hopkins University's Greg "Gio" Giovanazzi Memorial Tournament, where they will face JHU on Friday, Sept. 4, at 7 p.m. before taking on William Paterson University on Saturday, Sept. 5, at noon and the University of Massachusetts-Boston later that day at 2 p.m. Penn State Altoona returns to the road on Wednesday, Sept. 9, for a 7 p.m. match at Dickinson University.

The home portion of the schedule begins on Saturday, Sept. 12, when Penn State Altoona hosts a tri-match with Chatham University and Penn State Berks, taking on Chatham at 11 a.m. and Berks at 3 p.m. with the neutral-site match set for 1 p.m. The Lions remain at home on Tuesday, Sept. 15, for a 7 p.m. match against newly-Division III Saint Francis University, and they will host Lycoming College on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m. Another home tri-match follows on Saturday, Sept. 19, when Penn State Altoona welcomes Susquehanna University and York College. The Lions play Susquehanna at 11 a.m. and York at 3 p.m., with the River Hawks and Spartans facing off in the 1 p.m. match.

AMCC play begins on Tuesday, Sept. 22, when the Lions travel to Carlow University for a 7 p.m. match. Penn State Altoona's first home conference match is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, when Pitt-Bradford visits for a 1 p.m. contest. The Lions will then host Penn State Behrend in another conference match on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 5 p.m.

The conference schedule continues on the road at Hilbert College on Saturday, Oct. 3, at noon. Penn State Altoona returns home to face Pitt-Greensburg in a conference match on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m., and the Lions will host La Roche University on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. in another conference contest. Road conference matches at Mount Aloysius College on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m., at Pitt-Bradford on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m., and at Penn State Behrend on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 5 p.m. follow.

Penn State Altoona closes October with a home conference match against Carlow on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 1 p.m. before traveling to Pitt-Greensburg for a 7 p.m. conference contest on Wednesday, Oct. 28. The Lions will wrap up the month on the road at La Roche on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 1 p.m. in conference play.

The regular season concludes with two home conference matches in November. Penn State Altoona hosts Mount Aloysius on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. before closing the schedule against Hilbert on Saturday, Nov. 7, at noon.

Should the team qualify for AMCC postseason play, the first round of the conference tournament is set for Tuesday, Nov. 10, with the semifinal and championship matches happening Nov. 13-14.
